Sex, of course, is no exception. It is therefore no surprise that the most common questions related to sex revolve around averages. How often? How long? How big? How many? And of course…How long should I wait?

If your goal is a life-long relationship, then I strongly suggest waiting until being married before having sex. There is very little downside to waiting, and (in my humble opinion) there can be substantial benefits (like the strengthening of trust, respect, and commitment).

When you feel like that alone will keep you happy with that person. If you need some other type of stimulation like discussing politics, food, reading, TV, exercise, work, cars, friends, family, computers, music, you might want to consider that before you addicted to sex with the person that you will be getting really close to. If that is the only thing you have to look forward to, and that's why hooking up is fun, it may not be enough to keep you both happy. If it's just a fling and both can deal with it, that's normal and you'll find out when it's time to split up soon enough. In short, it either has to be a long time committment or short. If it's in the middle, you will end up arguing about little things to pass the time, trying to figure out why you like each other. That's why people get divorced so soon, mostly. Hopefully you'll dig the sex enough to have mostly fun!
